Are you a Californian who lives in the Fresno area? Would you like to participate in a demo for a relatively new d20 game? Then you are in luck, for you have the opportunity to sign up early for this event! You have the chance to participate in a demo of Malls & Morons, the role playing game about being a teenager in the malls of America.

If you would like to participate, send an email to talath@psnw.com with the subject "Malls & Morons Demo". The demo is being held on Sunday, March 16th, 2003 at Epic Worlds of Fresno. The address of the establishment is

8035 North Cedar Avenue
Fresno, CA. 93720

All you will need is your dice and willingness to show up and play. There are 3 slots available; if you do not sign up early enough and are not selected, you will be put on a waiting list in order of earliest sign up. If you do not show up, your slot is forfeit. You are expected to be curteous throughout your stay at the establishment, and to give feedback about the game and the session.

The demo will begin at 1 p.m. and is expected to run till 5 p.m.

Does this mean that Malls and Morons will be realeased in print soon? If so, congratulations. It will be interesting to see how it will look.

Unfortunetly, no :(

I'm doing this to get impartial feedback and to increase local awareness of my game. If I get alot of good feedback, it might help when the time comes for a publisher to make a decision about whether to publish or no.

Hmm

I am a teenager, and I was just at the mall earlier today. What do I need to play the game for?

Could you beat the crap out of someone at the mall and get away relatively unscathed? How about the security guard? Can you roller blade in the mall? Carry a paintball gun and wear skater pads and not look ridiculous? Can you steal things and not get punished by the police?

It's the game about doing the stuff you want to do at the mall, without consequences. Well, not always.

When it boils down to it, you don't need to play. Maybe it isn't your cup of tea.

Don't knock it till you try it I say.

Definetly.

Note, this thread has been bumped, because the date has changed from February 12th (it didn't happen) to March 16th. There is still time!
