Man beats Peacock he said was vampire

They are a largeish bird with beaks & claws...I wouldn't call any bird over 5lbs defenseless.

There is a golf course around D/FW that has a hole in which the Swan at one of the Water traps is so aggressive, its noted as a particular hazard of the course...players are advised to avoid trying to retrieve balls that go in or even near the water.

Heck...the Romans used Geese as guard animals. Not only are they noisy, but they, too are aggressive and can deliver painful bites.

Yep, I have 3 of those from the same rescue. Not nearly as bad as the Peacocks or Huge turkeys, though. Hopefully the 17 ducks, 3 geese, and Turkey will be at their new home by the end of the week. I'm only willing to keep the chickens.

If you really think about it, Peacocks are basically virtually flightless, highly colorful bundles of calories.

If they were actually helpless, predators would have wiped them out ages ago.

See, this news proves without a shadow of a doubt that there are some extremely f***ed up people in the world. :\

Peacock = Vampire? Who the hell comes to that conclusion?
When they "sing" it sounds almost exactly like a cry for help.
