A player of mine will be taking a Scout in our next campaign. He asked the question as to whether the statement "deals an extra D6 damage on all attacks she makes on any round in which she moves at least 10 feet" applies to Manyshot.
Manyshot indicates that any precision damage only occurs on the first attack.
Skirmish is precision damage, but it only applies on the character's turn (i.e. cannot be used with Attacks of Opportunity unless possibly due to an opponent's Readied action).
So, I ruled that since Manyshot is in the PHB, it is a "closer to the source" rule and since Skirmish does not explicitly state that it overrides Manyshot, it does not.
However, I am open to the possibility if someone can find a rule that allows for it.
I looked at Dual Strike and it is similar (for this purpose) to Manyshot.
I couldn't think of a way to move 10 feet and still get in multiple attacks anyway (except psionic Hustle), so I'm not quite sure what the Scout designers were thinking with regard to how to get multiple attacks, all with the Skirmish damage. Hustle and an AoO on a Readied action were the only two ways to accomplish it that I could think of. Can anyone think of other ways to do that?
