It is indeed super easy to use. After years of struggling to scale maps in Roll20, I was ready to make the switch just from that first functionality at launch.

Yep, when it first came out, as a test I imported in a map from the Dragonlance book on D&D Beyond, and it took all of like 10 seconds to scale it. Very fast and intuitive!

Bumping this to note that now tokens can be renamed in Maps!

They now have about 90% of the functionality I need and want. All that's left is a ping tool and a draw tool so my players can set out their AOE effects. Everything beyond that is gravy.

Not sure what this means, but almost no VTT had it on rollout.....not in my experience.

the renaming of tokens is huge....just need to be able to select tokens and add them to the encounter tool.....

to be more clear, I want to select tokens, click a button, and have those actors added to the encounter tool. I don't want to ever have to build encounters ahead of time. Or on the fly. Too much foresight, and too much disruption for this DM....

pretty standard on more advanced VTTs....which I get this isn't, nor is it anywhere near there in the dev process.
