Not exactly what you are looking for, but I am presently obsessed with Pangea. I've experimented withtaking a map of it, inverting it, rotating it, and blasting a corner of it into a cluster of small, scattered islands. The stock paint program that cam with my computer was suboptimal for this...anxious to see what Campaign Cartographer can do with it.

Y'see, I go for the opposite route. I've always wanted to take continental drift to its extreme, with the Americas crashing into Asia and other things.
