MapX officially has a new look. I have given it a tile based layer, and also made many improvements to the general abilities of the program, it is now easier to make maps with MapX than it is to fall asleep.

For those of you not in the know: MapX is the easy RPG map making program. It is a hybrid vector / bitmap / tile based map making utility aimed at making it easy and quick to produce maps for your RPG game. It has a wide range of tools and abilities including:
· Tile based mapping for quick and easy map making.
· Polygon tools for drawing shapes quickly. The “walls” and “floors” of these shapes can easily be textured with images.
· Text Objects.
· Alpha blending effects (images can be made semi transparent).
· COMBAT MAPS MADE QUICK AND EASY – you can print out maps at combat scale.
· Image im/ex port to a variety of file formats.
· And Mucho Mucho more…….
