D&D 5E Marathon Session-What should we run?

So our gaming group suffered a major disruption when one of our players moved away and this particular group haven't had a chance to game together in quite awhile however we have planned that in May we're all gonna take the weekend and just play dnd

now I want to be able to run something long easily since I don't know how far we will be able to progress so I figured one of the published adventures, but since I haven't read any of them I was wondering what would be best if you could run it all in one go?

(or as much as we can in roughly 48 hours)

Thanks in advance :)

Of the published adventures, it may be that Curse of Strahd is the only one you might be able to do. You'll have to trim a lot of what's in the book, and just keep it to the PCs going to Ravenloft to deal with Strahd. You can place most of the items they may need to help them within the Castle or nearby. You'll also need to start the PCs at a higher level...like somewhere in the 7 to 9 range, depending on the number of players.

So you would basically run the Barovia section, the tarokka reading at Tser Pool, and then it's off to Racenloft to fight Strahd. I think that would be doable in 2 days of solid gaming.

I imagine you've done the starter set adventure LMoP? Otherwise that would suit well. The first half of Out of the Abyss could also be fun - especially if you made the adventure "Escape from the Underdark" rather than worrying about the main arc.
