Where's my team? Why they're the number one seed in the west University of Arizona Wildcats. They're playing Vermont on Friday.

In the NCAA Tourney, I'm not really pulling for anyone in particular (although I am decidedly not pulling for Duke, NC State, or Maryland — I'm ambivalent about Wake Forest). Maybe Kansas, if I had to choose a team to root for...well, Kansas and Holy Cross (I have a soft spot for MA schools).

About UNC — It's not really like they deserved to be in the NCAAs — far, far too inconsistent. That said, the NIT is kind of a yawner (not the preseason NIT, mind you, just the postseason NIT). On the up side, at least UNC's got some promising young guys and we should continue to get better. I'd still like to see them do well in the NIT, though.

Although we got stuck in the most difficult region I am expection some good games from my Fighting Illini, #4 in the West. Up first is Western Kentucky which should be no problem and then a tough fight from Notre Dame if all goes as expected.
