Weapon looks at Brelach and Silvanon as they argue over who will search the body. He shrugs, and follows closely behind to guard them.

Brelach pushes Silvanon aside, and heads over to the body. "I've got this one, Elf."

OOC: +7 Search Check (and when he gets his mark, it'll be +9!)

"Be my guest." Silvanon says, bowing formally, then starts to wonder why exactly he wanted to search the body.

OOC:

Silvanon will keep an eye on the corridor and the body, making sure nothing moves, that isn't supposed to.

Silvanon and Weapon move forward to join Brelach, and similar feelings of unease and nausea flow over them. Silvanon's Dragonmark flairs up, a strong surge of energy brushing away the momentary nausea, and Silvanon feels fine. The energy, whatever it is, has no noticable effect on Weapon. He seems to be immune to whatever it is.

*Alys quietly quaffs a bit of the immunity remedy for herself before proceeding.*

 

[Patlin]

Proceeding, Alysin finds herself as untroubled as Weapon. Whether or not the potion has anything to do with that, she cannot be sure.

Weapon's face distorts into what can only be called a frown. "There is something... unusual up here. It is ... a feeling. Gone now. Is this the... strangeness... you spoke of?" He turns to Alys.

"I think so. Those not connected to the Dragonmark or the Draconic Prophecy will need this immunity antidote."

 

[Patlin]

To be clear, neither Weapon nor Alysin feel any continuing sense of wrongness. Brelach, on the other hand, looks to be in mild distress.

"How's that body searchin' coming there, Brelach? You don't look so good." Silvanon says while forcing himself not to smile.

By the gear he finds, the body seems to be that of a kobold wizard. The wizard has a dragonshard of some sort among his possessions, but nothing else of value is found.
