Things finally got back on track and we've goin' strong for a few years now. We've moved out of that rental house and bought one all the way across town about 5 minutes away from Elkhorn. Things are great! You gotta go through the tough times to get to the good times I guess.
I am still in the first year of wedding bliss, but it is always good to hear those who make it through a hardship coming out still in love, happier, stronger, and still married. I have been hearing too many stories of divorces recently.

We just celebrated 13 years married (and 15 years together) last week. By coincidence, our first kiss was 2 years and one day before our wedding.
I told her on our first date that I did not plan to get married until I was 35 years old. Looking back, I think she took that as a bit of a challenge, as I only 36 now. Wasn't the last time she proved me wrong, either!
I too enjoy hearing about couples who have stayed together through the ups and downs. Life is hard enough alone, I'm glad to have a partner and a soulmate.

If by "chain shirt" you really mean "chainmail bikini" then I'm all in favor of that being standard for 10th anniversaries. Except durnit! I had mine a year ago! I guess I can still give it to her late...fuindordm said:

Congrats MM. Suzi and I have only been married for 4, but we forgot our last aniversery as well. It feels like we've been married for ages.
