Well, only if Freeport is Mars.
For a soon-to-be-played episode of my Freeport campaign (see .sig for Story Hour thread), my PCs will be at a Wizard's Guild social function. I need some wizards to help populate the dinner - from apprentice to 15th level or so. (Honestly, the appearance and attitude of the wizards is more important than the abilities. It's a social function, I don't expect anyone to be chucking fireballs.)
So, if you've got an interesting wizard - a PC you've played, an NPC you've used, or just one sitting around - that you'd like to loan me, please post him here or drop me an email with the details. The wizard could be a native or a visitor from another guild.
Guidelines:
Wizards only - the Guild is pretty snobbish about that, so bards, sorcerers and chaos mages need not apply. (I suppose a wu jen or other spellcaster who prepares arcane spells could be found).
No more than 15 spellcaster levels - the High Wizard is only 12th level, but that doesn't mean he's the most powerful wizard - just the best administrator.
Personality, background, and appearance are the really important bits, although guidelines on what sorts of feats and spells they are likely to have could be useful.
Due credit will be given in the story hour to all wizard creators. No apologies will be made for any changes I make, though.
