Yes -- the hardcover production took longer than the softcover production -- which I should have realized. I apologize for that. I only just received my copy of the hardcover today.
In other news, we have some support releases coming up:
Slavers of Mars: An introductory adventure for a party of 3rd level characters, by Walt Ciechanowski, involving the rescue of a noble's daughter, slave trade among the nomads, a lost radium mine, and airship pirates.
Blood of Mars: An adventure for a party of 6th-8th level characters, by Justin S. Bow, in which the player-characters are drawn into the intrigue and eventual bloody conflict between two powerful merchant families in a Red Martian city.
Minions of Mars: A game aid for MARS-- a collection of pre-generated NPCs, ready for use. Features not only low-, mid- and high-level ordinaries, but a collection of "spotlight" NPCs as well.
The Face of Mars: An adventure for a party of 4th-6th characters, by Robert N. Emerson, involving an expedition to the Green Wastes, where a collection of ruins lie in the shadow of a great monument....
We've got some others on the way as well, but will hold off on announcements until they're closer to completion.
All of these releases will be in PDF -- there are currently no plans to release them in print, unless there appears to be overwhelming demand for that option.
