Mass combat

After 3 years of pleading with people to make a mass combat system we now have

1) the one in the mini's handbook
2) the dogs of war
3) Fields of blood which is supposedly going to be out in November.

Anyone have opinions on which is the best (well fields of blood isn't out) so just those two.

Cry Havoc by Skip Williams/Malhavoc Press

Also, the following books have mass combat systems: Testament, the Deep (for underwater). I believe Strongholds and Dynasties by Mongoose will have mass combat rules as well.

I'm sure there are more books I can't think off.

Also, the Birthright 3e PDF (available free) has mass combat rules.

I guess I called Cry Havoc as the dogs of war (is that a real product or did I make that one up)

So has anyone used any of these

The Mini handbook looks like a warhammer type game.

There is a product called 'Dogs of War', I believe. Forget what it is.
