Master Monster List

First Post
Is there a document, website, download, something, that contains most or all of the following information for 3/3.5 edition D&D?

Monster Name
Book where monster is described

Also helpfull would be any/all of the following included:

Challenge Rating (CR)
Alignment

I'm mainly looking at WotC material, but additional d20 monsters would be great.

I have my own list that I've made...its not nearly finished as I haven't had time to get through all my books yet, and its also a bit edited(nothing but Enviroments) to fit my campaign. Its organized by Enviroment and then CR. I really need to get it finished...

Oh - that would be great! I would love to see it in spread sheet format - for the MM1-2, FF, CC1-3, and the monsternomicon. Also out there, though I do not have it, Tome of Horrors 1-2 (I looked at #1 and thought the art was terrible, so I didn't buy it. Is #2 any better?). I have no list myself, so I have nothing to 'donate to the cause'. I know one fellow had entered all the data into access for his own use - but he declined to share the data base!

[plug] We'll be releasing the Monster Geographica series at Gen Con this year. A pocket-sized monster book containing around 200 OGC monsters from about 20 different sources (all updated for 3.5) NO SRD monsters. They'll be by environment and then by challange rating. When I make adventures, I want to know what monsters live where. If the first few do well, we plan on having 6 or so in the series.[/plug]

And this is on the down low.... haven't even solicited this through the channel yet... :D

Sorry, I didn't know myself untill two weeks ago...

The first one will be underground, the next marsh and aquatic, and the third will be forests. If they do well, they'll be followed by mountains and hills, plains (deserts/artic/temperate), and lastly city monsters.

It's a pretty cool idea and I'd like to get some of my books on people's "used during last game" list as opposed to on the "OMFG!" list. :D

On a serious note, I really think that's a great idea for a book. I wouldn't have started on my list of monsters organized that way if I hadn't actually needed it. And if I needed it, then obviously its safe to assume others will.

Now...just to stop being lazy and finish it up. :)

That's what we're hoping for. I know that I would use them all the time in my game.

Heh, there's more than one "special project" going on here at XRP.... so GenCon it will be.
