If skeletor doesn't say something and run off or say "I am not nice" I will be sad, but the visuals look great. Also noticed that they didn't use a shot of him saying "By the power of Grayskull... I have the power!""

Generally I do not like it when they mess with the canon in a fundamental way and Adam growing up on Earth is definitely that. But it definitely looks pretty enough to give it a fair shot.

Once I grew comfortable with the truth that my beloved childhood cartoons were just commercials, I stopped being concerned with what anyone did with the properties. I can't get worked up over changes to marketing strategies after all. It doesn't look like a bad movie. Masters of the Universe wasn't my particular jam when I was a wee tyke, but I'll watch the movie if it ever pops up on a streaming service I have.

This is a pretty decent trailer. Errs on the side of telling and showing too much, but the music fit the vibe and built a little excitement. I have no particular fondness for this franchise despite having had a bunch of the toys and played with them and watched the cartoon when I was little, but this looks like it could be a fun movie embracing the silliness without cringing over it.

I really just want a spin-off series with Alison Brie strutting around as a sassy evil sorceress. Make it a real estate show looking at all of the wild snake- and skull-shaped castles or something.

As an original fan of the original (when it was original) and current enjoyer of the previous live action movie, I think this looks great. If anything, it's maybe too good. I may end up craving something campier, stupider, and more childish; the source material is not serious. But the visuals look nice, the story seems fine, and the attempt at light-heartedness seems to be there.
