Masterwork Club 300 Gp?

I have never really looked at it, but a character has asked, does a Masterwork weapon (+300 Gp to the price) which costs 0Gp such as the Sling/Quarterstaff/Club cost just the 300Gp or can it not be made into a masterwork weapon
