I really like the more painterly style that Star Wars has gone with in recent animation projects (over the more overtly digital stuff from the early Clone Wars era).I think this show might be breaking my aversion to animation. It's reached a quality/style where I can bear to watch it. The art is excellent. The movement of the characters is sometimes quite good (running is still bad). It's almost coming out the other side of the uncanny valley of motion and physics I find so hard to watch, and which Star Wars cartoons are full of. If they keep improving in this direction, animation might be back in my viewing habits.
(Weirdly I'm find with 80s cartoons and The Simpsons because they are 2D and not trying to look or feel 'real').
