Just finished Michael Chabon's Gentleman of the Road, which was all right. I like his original title; Jews with Swords.

Next up is Joe Hill's short story collection 20th Century Ghosts.

Just finishing up Pathfinder #20. It's quite good, but thus far the "Legacy of Fire" path just hasn't grabbed my attention like I thought it would.

Next up is "Sword Song" by Bernard Cornwell, the fourth book in his 'Alfred' series. Also this month, I'm hoping to tackle "Doctor No" by Ian Fleming (Bond #6), "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, and Pathfinder #21 and/or "Dragons Revisited".

Hume, Aristotle, and Kant, eh? Interesting match-up. ;)

Reread a a book I hadn't picked up since it came out: Darkover Landfall. Nowhere near as good as I remembered.

Now reading Ghost Hunters, an exploration of Victorian attempts to legitimize the search for ghosts and the afterlife; an intriguing volume. I am also reading four Osprey Men-At-Arms books on 16th century weaponry for an up-coming game. ;)

Just finished Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy now that The Hero of Ages is out in paperback. Which reminds that Sanderson is really good, and The Wheel of Time quite possibly couldn't be in better hands. Also, he's completely incapable of writing a book where nothing happens.

Just finished Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Very interesting look at how people succeed.

In the middle of Lords of Finance about the US/UK/French/German central bankers and their policies post-World War I. The author's premise is that these four individuals bear much of the responsibility for causing the Great Depression. A good story so far. The author keeps the narrrative moving and seems comfortable with material that can be difficult for the layman.

Since I just got books 5-11 of ERB's Barsoom, I'm working my way through them. Finished Chessmen last night and am almost done Mastermind. I intend to finish them all by month's end.

I'm in the middle of Doc Savage #43: The Man Who Shook The World by Kenneth Robeson. I finished reading Doc Savage #40: The Dagger In The Sky last week. I recently found seven of the pulp books so they should keep me busy reading for a little bit.
