May I review Monster Manual III & Frostburn?

Felon

First Post
After picking up both books last Friday and pouring through them over the weekend, I decided I wanted to write up a couple of reviews. However, they don't seem to be available in the drop-down list of products. Can someone take care of that?

Hopefully, that's a minor issue. In the meantime, I'll start composing in notepad.

Good to know, thanks. Guess I didn't spot that option--all I saw was a drop-down list--but I'll take a look again once I've got the reviews together.

On a related note, I was hoping to see some reviews of World's Largest Dungeon. Obviously, it's the sort of product one has to spend some with before they can fully gauge its quality, but is anyone out there at least planning on giving it a shot?

Submitted the products for the database. Thanks again Joshua. Psion, I look forward to your review.

In case you can't wait for my reviews, the bottom line is that MMIII is awesome as hell, while Frostburn is a major disappointment.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more about FB. While I'm only partway through the 2nd chapter, I've liked all I've read & what I've skimmed ahead so far. I enjoy the crunch, & think the fluff on races is sufficient to serve as a springboard to developing my own unique gameworld cultures. I'm pleased that at least some support is given to XPH, too. My main complaint is the encounter tables; I'd far rather have a single page index by CR & come up with my own encounters from those. Overall, I'd say it leaves PlHB in the (icy) dust.

anyone going to do any reviews on Races of Stone?

I've written one for the 3rdedition.org site; hopefully it'll appear there within the next few days.

(Brief summary: I like Races of Stone. ;))

Cheers!

Let's see... I'm working on the following:

Valus: Campaign Setting.

World's Largest Dungeon: Will appear in d20 Filtered PDF magazine.

Races of Stone: I was pleasantly surprised by the utility I've gotten out of the book. Goliaths and Whisper Gnomes have already been added to my campaign. I'm an old timer though, so I'm looking at the dwarven pantheon going... "That just doesn't look right..."

Iron Kingdoms: Campaign Setting. The art is still top notch.

d20 Future: Just started in on it. one of my friends wants to run a game based around Star Wars using this engine so he really likes it.
