[Mecha Crusade] Invid

    So, here are some of the numbers for the various Invid out of the Palladium RPG book, Invid Invasion. Somewhere for us to start...

Invid Scout
Height: 2.5m (8.3ft)
Running spd: 40mph
Flight spd: hover - 2345mph
Weapons
 - Claws
 - Forearm blade

Invid Armored Scout
Height: 2.7m (9ft)
Running spd: 40mph
Flight spd: hover - 2345mph
Weapons
 -Pulse Beam Cannons (1 each shoulder), range: 1200m (4000ft)
 -assume same physical attacks as scout

Invid Trooper
Height: 5m (16.6ft)
Running spd: 60mph
Flight spd: hover - 300mph
Weapons
 -Claws

Invid Shock Trooper
Height: 5.8m (19ft)
Running spd: 60mph
Flight spd: hover - 300mph
Weapons
 -plasma cannons (1 each shoulder), range: 1200m (4000ft)
 -assume same physical attacks as trooper

Invid Command Unit
Height: 7.1m (26ft)
Running spd: 70mph
Flight spd: hover - 722mph
Weapons
 -heat cannons (1 each shoulder), range: 1200m (4000ft)
 -mini-plasma weapons (head), range: 609m (2000ft)
 -claws
 -crush

Royal Command Battloid
Height: 8.8m (29ft)
Running spd: 70mph
Flying spd: hover - 1340mph
Weapons
 -shielded plasma cannon (right arm), range: 1200m (4000ft)
 -twin missle launchers, payload 48 total
 -claws
 -crush

Keep in mind that these numbers are entirely arbitrary; it would be a good idea to rewatch the entire series again and see where the contradictions are to be found before undertaking this project.

    Well, that certainly throws a wrench into my plans, since not only have I not seen the cartoons in years, I also don't own them... What makes you say that the stats are arbitrary (other than KS's known proclivity for doing what ever the heck he wants? *grin*)

Sorry it took so long to respond.

Anyway, the reason why I say this is because, as you watch the video, you'll see that the weapons used and the damage they cause (in some cases their actual operation is entirely made up in the rpg) is not scaled to their statistics in the game. I'd suggest devising your own baseline standard and then working with that from watching the videos, if you can ever manage to beg/borrow/steal a set. I've watched the Invid series many times and I've never agreed with how most of the equipment jibes.
