Meepo defeats Shiba Temuro

My falcon friend thanks you, Meepo.

::The falcon grins as he breaks the rat's neck and drops to a tree behind Rini to eat so as not to disgust her animal loving self. The panther lopes over to Meepo in the falcon's sted.::

Temuro: 0; Neutral: 1; Meepo: 1; Goal: 2

::She then looks at Temuro, sighs, and shakes her head::

These things happen, just keep going.

The weasel punches the pillars; dodges the punch of the fires!

Somewhat amused at the number of rodents present in this fight, Meepo ducks out of the way of Temuro's punch. He then releases a rabid weasel which leaps towards Temuro's body, snarling with weasely fury.

Ouch... that hammer really hurt...

The chain falls within the pillars; guards against the drive of the settlement!

Temuro grabs a chain that he found in the hole that was punched by the hammer, and throws it at the kobold, while trying to confuse the weasel about the direction it is running.

Well, ok then, lets all beat down some pillars today, shall we?

Unfortunatly for Temuro, falling within them wasn't exactly hitting them.

::The falcon quickly finishes his meal and flys to where the kobold stands::

Temuro: 0; Neutral: 0; Meepo: 2; Goal: 2

Point and match Meepo!

Meepo, you may now choose a path and advance in that area. Please tell me when you have decided so I may decree this as so.

Temuro, you have lost, but since you are still learning as a white belt, you have lost nothing but a match. Keep trying! If you ever get discouraged, look at the records of the great sensei's.

Shaking his head, Temuro looks at the little kobold that has defeated him. "This defeat was a good lesson. I will remember it. Maybe we can have a rematch some day. Rini-sama, thank you for judging this match."

Meepo slips the weasel back into his pocket and bows to Shiba Temuro

You fought well. May we meet again on the field of battle.

He then turns to Rini

M'lady, I would like to join the Honor path.

Hurrah!

::Rini flips backward, startling several animal companions.::

Then I dub ye a yellow belt 0, Meepo. You have aquired your first fists of fury, as well as the style of weasel, for all your rodent needs! You also may join a dojo, if you have not already, and learn a style from them.

::She grins::

By the way, weasel is an excellent choice.

Many thanks, m'lady. Do you know of a dojo which teaches the rat style?

Disappointingly, I don't think such a style is taught by any current dojos. I, myself, am having problems with this.

I'll urge you to look at The Fighting Beast which teaches the fang I believe. My ex-mentor Rini (your judge) teaches that style, which isn't too far from the rat in theme.

Too bad you just learned weasel, since I could have taught it to you... If you join my dojo, you may earn yourself a re-match soon enough with your old foe Sanctus. I also have a small benefits package I offer, though I don't have a dental plan. I do teach sword and oak, but your best bet is still Rini for your "theme" I think you are going for.

Oh, and I "think" your yellow-1 not yellow-0. I originally thought 0 myself, but I think darkwolf told me that you start at 1, so you get a 1 point buffer before becoming "dishonored" and a 2 point buffer before you risk death.

I thought this was because you defeated an opponent who was of a greater rank than you? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought this was the reason.

I'm a bit surprised that Meepo took the Path of Honor, though. :p
