MEG Campaign Planner

if you have the full version (i do) is it writable then?

No, it isn't. Once I determined that Reader wouldn't do what I wanted it to do I dumped the Acrobat forms completely. Honestly it's just too much work for too little reward. If Reader had been able to save forms after data was input I would have thought a lot harder about the amount of time creating the writable forms would have taken.

Maybe Adobe will release a version of Reader that saves forms. That would make PDFs a lot more valuable to the user.

I'd LOVE that. I love the character sheet forms, but filling them in -complete- every time a character changes (advances a level, loses a level...)...forget it.

I'm going to buy Campaign Planner regardless, and I'm looking forward to Adventure Planner.

Cheers
Nell.

Thank you. I'm going to try and get some additional work done today on the Adventure Planner.

And to the 50+ people that have purchased the Campaign Planner in its first 24 hours of release I want to say "thank you very much!" I've never seen one of the PDFs I designed sell this quickly. It definitely encourages me to design more tools for the DM.

Thank you for making it.

This is one of those things that I had to get the moment I read about it, and that's rare.

Very cool, very easy to use, and it may finally get me to the point where I stop refering to one of my NPC's as "That guy who looks after your castle." :)

Wow, thanks everybody we are proud of this and I am glad to see people feel the same way we do about it!

Nice idea, but...

... could we have a demo, please? Just one or two examples. Or even just low-res pictures of one or two pages, so that we know beforehand what we're buying.

Or is it just me, and I just can't find it although it's there?

If I'll ever see a demo, then count me in (unless I'm totally shocked, but judging by your other work I don't think this is very likely... but still: no demo, no purchase ;) ).
