I can think of many things that I _could_ have done to get more graphic interest on the page. But each time I added something my primary question was: "What does this add to the utility of the product?" In the end I opted for a very minimalist, functional design.
I printed a set of these and they flew through the printer with hardly any affect on ink. I feel that for this product minimalism was the correct route.
The cool thing about PDF, though, is that anyone who feels I've done a poor job on this product is free to generate their own similar product and sell it at RPGNow. I will stand by my original design decisions and feel that user feedback and sales will, in the end, demonstrate that I made the correct decision regarding graphic use on the forms.
