Mega-Adventure Prologue--The Council and the Fellowship

Nurlan is pleased to see Alicia at the meeting in place of her grandfather. He smiles at her as she enters. He is even happier to hear her demonstrate the resolve the Baron wouldn't show.

Rinaldo looks at everyone. "Ok, I'll start by asking each of you, you name and a few more qeustions to evaluate your skills." Rinaldo starts to walk around, asking each one present what are there name and quickly asks there past experience. Behind him, Hogarth walks and write a few notes. For the few who see the notes, it seems the elven cleric write down his text with a dwarven alphabet, but teh words seems to make no senses to people who speak dwarven. Maybe a few person can decipher it as Terran.

Nurlan answers for the benefit of all assembled, although Rinaldo already well knows his talents. "I must admit, I am better suited to singing about the kind of deeds now called for, than performing them. But still, I have acquired a little skill with spear and bow. And as you know some talent with the performing arts can be quite valuable in obtaining the goodwill of others; you have seen me use my song to make friends out of enemies. Perhaps I would be best suited to an expedition requiring some intrigue or negotiation. But I will go wherever most needed. Desperate times lead men and women of noble character, regardless of station, to forget their calling and become heroes."

The Tempest shard should be led by Almayce, Devlin, Micheal, Nodis, Nurlan and Tor. Nurlan, if you go with that group, I would like you to take the responsability to represent Orussus on that expedition. Is that fine with you?

"I am honoured by the appointment." Unspoken: A kid from Lhondaio who becomes a knight of Monemvassia and an emissary of Orussus. Shkarna was right that a bard knows no country or border.

ooc: Yes, Lily (wizard 1) is missing from that list and would probably be one of the ones left over. She'd prefer to not be with Droggle and Hasin, since quite frankly, they'd scare her silly.

Ooc: Maybe Lord Baldrian can be used if no real paladins shows up. He has the mind set of one and it is only by chance that he did not become an holy warrior but a priest

ooc: I was about to point that out myself. Rinya is pretty tight with Richard and Lucien, I'd suggest moving Babette to another group.

Also, I thought the Nocturne shard was for the 1st Levels. Octavio is 3rd, shouldn't he be in a different group?

Someone else I think is missing is Rae's gnome wizard Fimble. He was at Tennybryn's party.

Nura turns her head and respond to Rinya. "That is an accusation you should keep to you self unless you have a hard proof. He might be arrogant, and blind but that is not the same."

"If you need hard proof you should go home. We have no hard proof about this Lichwyrm's threat and this meeting should never have happened.

And he is more than arrogant and blind, he has declared himself our enemy. Cultist or not, he is taking sides with them. I would rather declare my suspicions loudly and warn my allies than keep quiet and and weep over your corpse later."

OoC: Tumna is very little short of 3rd level, so she could probably dangle with the 3rd-4th level characters as she'd be in that bracket after just one XP reward most likely. Just in case that would make arranging the characters easier.

Maybe I can get a judge to put the final approval stamp on this proposed spell then?
B4cchus and Bront have both given a colorful YES, I think I just need a 3rd. I point this out, because this spell is perfect for battling undead.
