Mega-Shark vs. Giant Octopus: A warning

I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that I truly cannot remember the last time I saw a movie this bad. It's not even fun bad; you can make fun of it for a while, but eventually it becomes a boring train wreck.

Yes, now there are a few of your brain cells now dedicated to remembering bits of the movie - and you're never getting them back. Curiosity - sometimes it kills the cat, sometimes it just causes a bit of brain death.

Somewhere out there, fans of a certain kind of anime are berating this giant octopus.

No, they're writing fanfic. :p

If you're referring to her acting, no. She's absolutely awful (though far from the worst in the movie).

If you're referring to, uh, physical attributes... Still no. With the exception of a few curse words, the movie is entirely safe for broadcast television. ;)
DAMMIT!

Its a movie about two water monsters! Is a wet t-shirt too much to ask?

:D

Are you suggesting that the sequel to "the scottish film" has a challenger for the crown of most pointless drivel ever?
You mean "Macbeth 2: Banquo's Revenge"?

No, Macbeth 2: Electric Boogaloo Strikes Back (its a Japanese film from Toho studios).

On June 21, starting at 1AM CST, you'll have the chance to find out. Sci-Fi is airing them back-to-back.

(You have been warned!)

Well, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. (I know, I know...it's impossible to "respectfully" disagree on a messageboard. Let the flamewars begin.)

I watched it last night with some friends and we were laughing pretty much through the entire thing. Personally, I laughed so hard that I actually cried a little. If you don't think that a shark leaping out of the water to snag a plane from the sky is a redeeming quality, this movie just isn't for you.

It's like I said after seeing Transporter 2...another laughably bad (which means good, remember) movie. I said that there are two kinds of people in the world: those who see the "flip the car off a ramp to catch the bomb attached to the bottom of the car trick" and say that its stupid and unrealistic and those who see the same trick and stand up in their seat, clapping and laughing, while declaring its awesomeness.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but if you like to laugh at bad movies (as I do), you just might find this movie to be very enjoyable.

While I wouldn't stand up and clap, I see myself in both. "Wow, that's ridiculous and unrealistic and stupid and totally awesome."
