Melee version of Practised Spellcaster feat

Well, there's weapon focus.....
You get a bonus to your attack roll, just not to BaB.
Which is kind of similar to getting a bonus to your caster level, but no additional spells.
The problem, of course, is that if you want to expand on that tree, you need fighter levels (for weapon specialization etc.)

Mechanically, WF, WS, GWF, MWM are all top 5 feats for increasing damage output.
Weapon Focus is a 9% increase, and the OP seeming wants something that is 4 times as good.
I agree that a feat to increase BAB would be extremely powerful. How about a feat that gives you an attack bonus other than weapon focus. How about a +2 that when added to your BAB can't be any higher than HD, can only take the feat once, and doesn't give extra attacks. Still extremely powerful but not game breaking. Even though I would not allow it as a DM.

Well help me out then. Because even a feat that grants a +1 to attack is greater than Weapon Focus since it is for all weapons. So you have created a "top 5" mechanically feat.
If you make it +2, then the only thing similar in game currently is MWM.
If you make it +4, then you have created the best feat in existence period.
Practiced Spellcaster is no where near the best feat in existence.

Maybe we should look at this a different way?
Why exactly are the feats already mentioned not good enough? Does the PC already have them all and somehow wants more? Do you think they are to weak?
If just gaining +s to hit is the issue, then there are tons magic items to accomplish this already. A lot of non-standard feats are useful. Things that give bonuses to hit when flanking for example.

The reason there's no equivalent is because there doesn't need to be one. BAB goes up with ALL classes while there was nothing to increase your caster level that you could get with other classes. Practiced Spellcaster is a partial fix to a problem that has no equivalent in BAB.
