To: WOTC 4th Edition D&D Developers & Designers
From: Le Rouse

It has been brought to our attention that we are over using the word "cool" to describe 4th edition. Greg Nard in accounting conducted a detailed statistical analysis of blog posts, articles, essays, hallway conversations and daydreams that showed the word "cool" has been used 1, 347,974 times since August 15, 2007 to describe 4th edition.

Validating this study are numerous posts on message boards like ENworld with titles including:

"4tards are not c44L" , "Keep your cool off my game", and "Cool WTF?"

Based on this alarming increase in the use of "cool" here are mandatory replacements for "cool" to be used immediately. If you have the urge to use "cool" please refer to this list.

Hahahahahahahahaaaaa....

The fact that someone is criticizing WotC because "cool" is being used too much is just too funny.

Bitchin'!

I love it. This may be the coo...um, funkiest post I've read in a while.:D

P.S.: I counted 1,347,982 but that is including this thread.:p

When I see "OMG TEHY R OVERUSING 'COOL' LOL," I just can't help but think people are fishing for things to criticize.

I did notice, however, that WotC relies on "the" a lot in your 4e previews. You guys should watch that. Wouldn't want to be seen as pandering or anything.

I'm just glad that you came out publically with this. I would hate to have found out later that you were the one forcing 4E designers and developers to say things are "rad to the max." :p

"The" is the most overused word in the entire human language. The reasons are that the synomnyms for the word "the" are the hardest to find because they are hiding under the largest rock in the world.

The End.
