Mercenaries: Born of Blood is Back!

That's right, after getting the rights back from OtherWorld Creations, Mercenaries: Born of Blood rises from the ashes as Modern: Mercenary Manual from Ronin Arts!

The biggest differences are the removal of the majority of historical mercenary elements, the conversion of spells to D20 Modern, and updates to make it D20 Modern compatible overall (which, sadly, Mercenaries: Born of Blood was not when it finally hit the press).

I'd also like to thank Philip Reed for his fantastic layout skills. I have a newfound respect for his layout-fu.

See the press releases forum or my web page for more details.

Just bought a copy. :)

Okay, I'm kinda embarassed to even mention I noticed this so quickly, but it's possible errata so here goes:

The Prostitute :heh: occupation listed in the randon determination (d100) of mercenary type of Occupation by campaign type (Modern or Future) chart on page 17 is missing, the Porter occupation as well.

The first thing I usually check out in a d20 Modern source book is any new occupations, so don't judge me to harshly for noticing that first off!

Congrats to you. Pity my Cities book never saw the light of day. Anyone want 100K+ words on cities in D20, let me know. We can work something out. :)

Hiya Lizard,

Regarding reselling other products...you'd be surprised, especially since you've already written the book and have credits to your name. So many authors are late with projects that a lot of publishers find a completed work very appealing.

The way I sold Blood and Brains: The Zombie Hunter's Guide was by asking if publishers were interested on the ENWorld boards.

No, *I'M* embarrased. My apologies for that error. The errata is now here: http://members.toast.net/talien/michael/pdfs/mmmerrata.pdf

*GASP* A customer pointing out an error in a product! How dare you! :)

Seriously though, please don't judge ME too harshly for the error. I promise I'll keep the errata up to date as quickly as I can and incorporate the fixes into any future updates.

Thanks for being so kind about the correction!
