Arms & Equipment.

There was a 3.0 version in Sword & Fist which I think is the same.

Sword and fist p70 does 2d8 and x4 for 600gp.
arms & equipment p6 does 2d6 and x4 for 600gp.

FWIW, I recommend against these weapons... if you use one, the DM may feel obliged (or entitled) to throw some foes with them at you, and the DM has more rolls to crit on than you do.

I've got a feeling it is also in the Races of the Wild too and that would be 3.5. My copy is not to hand to check.

Nope, it isn't.
And I would have been really surprised if it had been. Those things are totally overpowered. There's a reason they never reappeared in 3.5.

Arguably, 3.5e did get Kaorti "resin" weapons in the Fiend Folio, but those at least had the good grace to disintegrate in sunlight.

I think I must have been thinking of the Elven Courtblade and the Elven Thinblade.

By the way the Arms & Equipment Guide version of the Mercurial Longsword actually does 1d8/x4 and costs 400 Gp. It is the Mercurial Greatsword that shadyizok has given stats for above. IMO neither is totally overpowered.
