[Merged] My Six Setting Proposals

It might be just me, but I think Anthony Valterra did a good job in answering the deluge of questions.

Anyway - I really like Gondwanaland and Illyria of your proposals. I do, however, notice that you did use a number of real-world term, including Gondwanaland. That's fine for lesser-known terms, but in abundance, those names rather detract from the setting. And "Black Rupert?" ;)

Twilight of Gaia was supposed to have a western-genre feel. I thought Black Rupert was dope-sounding.

What terms did I use "in abundance?"

Gondwanaland is a lesser-well-known term, and it sounds cool, and maybe I'm saying that prehistoric gondwanaland wan't populated by magic and monsters. Its fantasy, for crying out loud.

None, thankfully.
Considering your next sentence, I propably phrased myself badly. It is certainly ok to have the occasional "real-world reference" - in moderation, as everything. There is a fine line between using it to evoke the feel of the setting, and to detract from it.
I certainly did not want to suggest that your Gondwanaland is the geological Gondwanaland (nor do I believe it is).

That's my battlecry, more or less. ;)
