[META] ENWorld Europe Summer Insanity!!

I *might* be able to attend, but my restricted finances probably won't allow me. It depends on the when but especially on the where.

I don't think I'm able to make it, although I might be able to if it would be held in the Netherlands. In fact, I'll narrow that down to the Randstad (which is the roughly circular metropolitan area of Amsterdam, Haarlem, Utrecht, Rotterdam & Den Haag)

Btw, I'm moving to Brighton for 9 months in September... any En'ers around?

Rav

I would like to, but I am not sure I could make it :(

But the Netherlands would be one of hte easier places for me to go. I think there's still a direct ferry from Gothenburg :D

Sounds really cool. Might I suggest Brussels as the European capital?:D

Seriously, I'dd be interested, but, as for the rest, depending on time and location.
Also: just bought a house, so trips weren't really part of my summer plans.:(
But hey, if I can sgueeze it in...
There used to be an Gencon in Antwerp, not sure how it survide here in the Gobi desert of role-playing.

The Three ifs??

I would come If i could?
But it depends on Money, Time and locastion.

Netherland would be good but maybe Germany is more Central?
But I will accept ass German i´m biased.

I fear the typical European weakness is showing here: Europa Dividuus. Everybody feels his back yard is the center of the universe.
Personally I feel Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam is the most central axis in Europe. But in all honesty: thats my back yard.
The best vennue would seem to be a gaming fair.

Hmmm.

As a native of sunny Austria, the land down under, I would very much like to join in this venture in the spirit of pan-Eurasian cooperation. Of course, location might be a problem, because Austria is, as is well known, both the world's largest island and its smallest continent, and separated from the rest of Europe by the English Channel. I would suggest Perth, the capital of Austria and famed city of the asterisk. There we can watch the dolphins frolicking in Sydney Harbour as we drink pina coladas and espresso coffees, and partake of the famous Austrian delicacies of quiche and focaccia. The trained kangaroos and their alpenhorns and wobbleboards will serenade us with exquisite polkas in the tradition of that famous Austrian composer, Johann "Rolf Harris" Strauss. A memorable time will be had by all.
