Metal minis

Hi all,

Now that WotC has gone the plastic route, I'm not sure what companies still make metal fantasy minis.

I see that reaper is still around, and iron winds does the Monte Cook stuff. Any other suggestions / recommendations?

I don't have my list with me. Can someone do a search and repost it? It's a pretty extensive listing of companies.

Off the top of my head though, Dragglestown and the Warstore both do good business and avoid NewWave like the plauge.

Amen to that, Joe. I will never order from NewWave again. They have burned me more than once, and they're really poor at customer service, too.

The best way to check out a lot of metal mini's from different manufacturers is by checking out the online retailers. Yes, avoid New Wave though.

I reccomend both of these retailers from my repeated buying experiences

Some of my favorite minis are the Confrontation and Warmachine lines. Yes, they are made to work with their skirmish level games, but I buy them for RPG use.

NewWave is the worst company I have EVER had the displeasure to encounter. Seriously. I have absolutely no idea how they stay in business, stealing from customers- I cannot believe that they ever have repeat business.

I have literally 8 months worth of e-mails... most ignored, but several with responses so I know they still exist (!)... and yet never received my product. Thieving bastards.

There are other companies like Ironwind Metals (formerly known as Ral Partha) that offer metal minis (as in pewter).
