Methia and Artifacts.

It's stated somewhere in Chapter 8 that artifacts still function in Methia, since they have their own reserve of magic that operates independently of the flow of magic through the rest of the world - this is why the Arc of Reida works there.

It doesn't mention specifically any of the artifact (or artifact-like) items the party may have:
  • Arsenal of Dhebisu
  • Godmind Urn
  • Hook of Triegenes
  • Hammer of the Lost Riders
  • Blade(s) of Srasama
  • Malice-forged weapon (not an artifact, but might work anyway due to its nonmagic state)

Does the adventure assume those items will still work during the trip to Methia, or will that mess things up?

For that matter, Xambria's Consciousness technically follows the rules for a 4e artifact. If she wasn't given a new body in adventure 7 and is still merged with a PC, would that character still be able to use her manifestation abilities and such in Methia?

Each of the mentioned items sounds powerful enough to have its own reserve of magic power (although I'm not sure what is Godmind urn exactly, as it's probably bound to play larger role in adventure 10, "Godmind"); after all, each of them is significantly older than all other magic items in campaign, and their magic power didn't wane with years. Xambria's consciousness, I suppose, is "powered" by PC's mind. I'd rule that her item bonus to skills functions properly, but rituals and mage hand fail just as every other magic effect.
