My artificer is looking for ways to apply infusions over a distance so that he can stay out of harms way.
As far as I can tell, there are two possible ways to do this; I'm unsure about the second:
1) Reach spell metamagic feat
2) Spectral Hand, cast from a wand.
Its unclear if spectral hand can deliver infusions since it specifically says spells in the description.
Reach spell is unsatisfying because it bumps the level by two AND requires a touch attack. I was hoping for something that is geared toware benign spells only, with a one level bump if possible. The flat 30 ft. range on reach spell is also somewhat unsatisfying.
Can anyone point me to other modes of delivering infusions over a distance?
