Michigan/Ontario Gameday site

All: I did some quick checking, and reserving a room here may not be the easiest way to go, as we'd end up having to charge some sort of admission. The smallest rooms avaialble at the Union go for $8/hr, minimum of five hours.

If people are interested in paying $10/head or thereabouts, perhaps, but I think it'd be easier to schedule a time at the Underworld (I'm betting they'd be up for it given the business it would pump in )

Help me out here - what's Underworld? I'm assuming it's a gaming store in Ann Arbor? That charges $10 a person?

I'd be willing to pay a wee bit of money. How does everybody else feel about that?

Heh... oops! I just realized my wording was a bit off. If we go with a room at U of M, it'll be $10 a person or so.

At Underworld (yep, gaming store in AA), there shouldn't be any charge

Timeline

When would this Gathering be held? I'd really like to come, but I have two logistics issues:

1. I'm in Kitchener, without means of getting myself to Michigan other than Greyhound (expensive?) or bummin' a ride from someone in my neck of the woods (KW, Guelph, or Toronto).

2. I'm not around until late June due to a hectic conference schedule.

Is there anyone else from Ontario that I could hitch a ride with, providing I can make it? I can probably bus it to London without it breaking the bank.

I voted for anywhere on this side (Canadian) of the border, but with some (hopefully) advance notice, I could try to make my way to somewhere in Michigan. I also wouldn't mind paying a small cover charge if need be.

Has anybody thought of a date for this yet?

I'd rather veer to the Canadian side of the border, more precisely, London. I have a bunch of friends (who play RPGs, too) who wanna go to Western, and it'd be like a mini-road trip.
