Middle Earth questions

Whoops, that's not an ICE map, A2Z, that's a Atlas of Middle-earth map. Still, that atlas has some basic errors that contradict the text of the Lord of the Rings, and the areas beyond Middle-earth (with the exception of Beleriand and a little bit of Valinor) are all speculative anyway.

Ah well, that okay. It's still nice to have a map of all of Middle Earth even if it's probably wrong. It's not like we'll ever get an official one. ;)

I used to have that ICE map on the wall of my room oh so many years ago. It was a beaut of a map.

Too bad you still cannot get them.

I too have a copy of that map. I thought it was great eventhough I knew it was not "official" in any way. I still have it somewhere in one of my many boxes. I might just have to dig it out one of these days.

Although the ICE material was not "official" (except for their game) they make excellent background material. I loved their writeups for the Nazgul, especially for Er-Murazor (Witch-King of Angmar, Lord of the Nazgul, etc.)

Oh and ColonelHardisson love the stuff you'll are doing on the conversion.

I guess I am the exception. Everyone seems to love the ICE sourcebooks. I didn't necessarily think they were bad, they just didn't seem very Tolkien-ish to me.

That was a beautiful map, though.
