Midnight 2.0 PDF on sale now...for $50!!!!

As to the number of PDFs sold... Army of Darkness (unisystem lite by Eden) was selling the pdf for 30% off retail price. I can't remember the exact number, but it came to less than 20 PDF sales in the first 2 weeks of release. There was a thread that discussed the number of sales and how quickly it was pirated - before the book has even arrived in the United States!

Shouldn't we be more concerned that FFG raised the price of the second edition by $15 over the first edition? That's just insane. Did costs really rise that much in the two years between 1st and 2nd edition?

While costs have risen (don't forget that books are shipped -- which requires gas) the ne edition is larger.

Misc...

I have been routinely buying interesting PDFs of games i did not plan to run. I buy hardcopies of those i do plan to run.

I had no heavy draw towards Ih but when it was so well priced i reasoned there had to be enough usable in there to make it worth the 14 bucks.

pricing of pdf led to sale!

I wanted Midnight 2e in pdf becuase our midnight game is winding down but i wanted to see what they did with 2e.

when i saw the pdf out for sale, yippee!
when i saw its whopping 95 cents off full price, i said no "way in heck!"
had that pdf been 35 bucks, it would have been a buy on the spot for me.

pricing of pdf led to NO SALE.

Now, i don't expect everyone to go PDf for 60-70% off like IH did. I am usually happy with between 30%-50% for new releases.

but you wont see me paying 95% of hard price for a pdf.

frankly, it annoys me so much M2e is off my christmas "if you cannot find me other stuff" list.
