Tashki thinks to herself; They aren't nearly as frightning as I feared. And begins to survey the motely collection of Travelers.

In Trader she responds to the nervous Ernlander; Yes, I have had visions of this place too. And in my dreams there were others waiting here. But I could never see who.

Tashki looks towards her fellow elves and smiles at the sight of a fellow Danisil.

Greetings Brother. She says to the other Jungle Elf in Jungle tounge.

/ooc I thought I had read that the Trader's Tounge was the most likely common language on the continent.

Therion approached cautiously, seeing others already gathered around the rock outcropping. He nodded in greeting to the other two elves, and took a few moments to stare at them. He had only once met one of his kin that resided in the southern jungles of Erethor and it had been many years ago. Their appearance intrigued him, so much different than the elves of Veradeen.

[HighElven] "Greetings friends," [/HighElven] he says to the two Danisil, [HighElven] "I am Therion Izadne of the Veradeen" [/HighElven]

Turning to the others he says, [Erenlander] "Greetings, I am Therion, an Erunsil of the Veradeen." [/Erenlander] He bows slightly as he says this.

Tozin looks in wonder at the man already waiting at the stone formation, and as the other man speaks, the corners of his mouth rise slightly into a small smile. When he has a chance to speak, he nods slightly and says (in Erenlander) "Yes, I saw it too. And I saw others coming as well. We should wait for them." With that, Tozin drops intoa crouch with his back to a rock adn his quarterstaff across his legs and waits for the other arrivals, each of whom he greets with a small nod.

The large man puts his axe away and drives the tip of his sword into the ground leaning upon it heavily. [Erenlander]"I am called Regan. I am from far north of this place where the winters are cold, but a dream has brought me here too."[/Erenlander] He seems to shift uneasily from time to time, seemingly due to being uncomfortable as opposed to being nervous.

Qaridas' eyes, the color of molten gold, their pupils feline in appearance, flashed from person to person. He then approached each of the other travelers, looking them in the eye and leaning forward, sniffing the air next to them, humans first, then the Erunsil, and finally his fellow Danisil, affixing each one's face to his or her scent. He responded to Tashki's greeting first [Jungle Mouth]"Sister, we are both far from the deep green. It is good to see kin this far to the east. I am Qaridas."[/Jungle Mouth] To the northern elf he replied, [High Elf Pidgin]"Cousin, may mother guide your weapons. I, Qaridas."[/High Elf Pidgin]. To the rest, [Trader's Tongue Pidgin]"Faces unseen in dreams now seen. Your scents strong and good. I, Qaridas, follower scents and dreams."[Trader's Tongue Pidgin]

Regan, startled, moves away from the elf as he sniffs him. Not understanding a word that came out of the small one's mouth, he watches as the ritual continues from one person to the next. While observing this, Regan begins to sniff himself making sure that he does not have an offensive smell about him, more than usual that is....

If Tak was stunned into silence before, now he is nearly in a state of shock.

Elves?! Never in the boy's wildest dreams did he think he would encounter anything as exotic as an elf.

He stands there, in utter amazement with his mouth agape for a few moments before he composes himself. However, he is still far too nervous and shy to introduce himself to these magical creatures.

The Gathering

Introductions are made. Comparisons are made. Everyone seems to have had the same dream. In the dream, including themselves, there are six others. A quick count shows only six of you and everyone begins to wonder about the mysterious seventh member of your unlikely group.

You continue to wait throughout the afternoon and into the evening. You find that the formation is a good place to hide. As the sun finally drops below the western horizon, you wonder how much longer you should wait. Perhaps this seventh member got lost, injured, or even killed. Perhaps the vision was incorrect. As you ponder these issues and more, Qaridas motions for everyone to stop talking.

Game Stuff: Qaridas and Tashki both heard the sound of a twig breaking under something heavy to the east. Therion heard something to the east. Tak and Tozin heard something. Regan didn't hear anything unusual.

Restringing her bow, Tashki turns to the east and in Trader says; There is something moving over there.

She scans that general direction and moves to what would be the middle of the party.

Regan, not understanding the language, pulls his bastards sword and axe in response to Tashki's actions. He begins to look around in every direction expecting trouble from somewhere. [Erenlander]"Is something near?"[/Erenlander]
