...but the siren-like call of the game Midnight caught me in it's spell. I bought the game and devoured the book in a day and a half.

WHAT A COOL SETTING. I've been in this game (D&D, that is) for over 20 years of my life, and this setting has gotten me to sit up and take notice, much in the way Ravenloft, Dark Sun, and Delta Green (for Call of Cthulhu) did in the past!

It left me panting heavily and all wet inside..!

(That was metaphorical. I'm a guy, please don't start emailing me, you pervos.)

I was at the local hobby shop today and there it was, looking me in the eye, but alas it was more than I intended to spend...So instead i bought Against the Shadows and I cannot get enough...I will have Midnight before the end of the month. I have waited so long for such a setting, Dark and oppressive, with lots of gruesome combat yet miles of ROLEPLAYING portential!

Funny--I had both in my hand while in the store (and I had the money for BOTH books)....but thumbing through Ghostwalk, I voluntarily skipped it. It doesn't look as interesting. Although, I may purchase it if it'll "slot" into Midnight fairly easily....!

I know the feeling. I resisted it until this past weekend when I said *$#% it and decide to buy it, and now I love the game. I'm working a campaign trailer right now to get people interested, and I'm going to run Crown of Shadows first.

Midnight RAWKS!!! All hail the Shadow!!! errr....I mean, all fight against the Shadow...yeah, that's it.
