Hi everybody,
I've been thinking about the type of campaign I want to play and while there are a lot of published adventures I like, I want to go in a different direction. More like a military campaign, where the story plays in a world of war, where there are armys and not just monsters, maybe the PCs do scout missions for the army, or help to defend the kingdom from invadors. I think you could add a lot of flavor with NPCs being Sergeants and Majors. I want to add the "feeling" like the warstories from Malazan, if that helps the description.
Well so far about the explanation.
So far, I do not know any published 4e adventures or dungeon-articles that could help me. There was this awesome Skill-Challenge Article about the siege of a keep, which really inspired me, but nothing else I know of.
Then there is obviously RHOD which includes armys and invasions and generally have the flavor I am looking for.
So are there any published adventures or books in general that could help me? Older editions are great too, as well as 3rd party stuff since its mainly for inspiration...
