CPT, Army, Armor (now headed to Acquisition).

D&D player, & at least one other CPT at my current duty station who plays (though we're not in the same group).

Lots of troops in my company played at my last duty station, though I made it a point not to because of potential fraternization issues.

Heck, our CSM was one heck of a WarHammer player, and the Chaplain & Chaplain's assistant used to run games in the combat trains.

Edit: Niveria -- you get a list/yahoogroup/whatever going, post it here -- I'd love to find other officers to game with (when they all get back from SWA, that is).

While I don't regularly game with anyone currently in the Military, I normally have at least one ex-military person in the group. And one of my friends is currently enlisted in the Navy and he games with a bunch of other enlisted. I manage to game with him once in a blue moon.

I've gamed with several people in the military, and most of them say that finding gamers in the military is no big deal at all. Right now, I'm only gaming with one active military person, but in the past i've been in games where I was the only person who was not either current or ex-military.

Of course, they all got transferred away and I'll like as not never see them again.

I'm pretty sure my current group includes 1 ex, 1 reservist, and 1 active -- all Navy, of course; this is San Diego, after all. Of course, I am and always have been a civilian.

My gaming group in college consisted of 2 Marine Corps Midshipmen, myself (Marine at the time), and as many as 4 Naval Midshipmen. All but me are currently still on active duty, with roughly half still gaming from the last info I had.

One (and only one) bump.

Note much of a response, so I'll give it one more shot. At this point, it doesn't sound like a special group for military gamers would be worth it.

Cheers!

No military conections so far, but we're moving to Dover, right near the Air Force Base this summer, and I've been told that is probably the best place to find a new group, so I've got high hopes :)
