Miniatures for a Psion?

Hey all!

I've been looking at minis all morning and my eyes are very tired - I was hoping to get some help from you guys to find a mini for my character. He's a psion/soul knife with studded leather armor and spiked shield. Armor/weapons/equipment aren't as important as the overall look of the mini - I'd like to find something that is a bit unusual, even a little weird, say in the style of the Confrontation minis, but I'm open to any product line as long they aren't terribly difficult to get. I'm very familiar with different companies, and I paint my own minis, so what I'm looking for here are suggestions of particular minis that look "psionic," however you may define that. Any suggestions would be welcome and my eyes thank you in advance.

Well, since you mentioned Confrontation, you might alrady be aware, but I like the Griffon Musketeer figures, you'd just need to get rid of the musket, or turn it into a staff or something. In my game, one player was going to use this for his psion, turning the musket into a crossbow.

But he never got around to painting it before he found this figure (male human mind witch) from Iron Wind's Arcana Unearthed line which he liked better, and currently uses:

Well there is of course the plastic ones from WotC, several psions in there and fairly common. I seem to recall a Arcana Unearthed Witch from Iron Wind that may work for that. Or simply one of Reaper's monks with a punching dagger painted so as to appear made of psionic energies.

Oh, one more. Unfortunately, this won't help you Eris, since you're looking for a male character, but in case anyone else sees your thread and comes looking for female psionic types, here's a cool one that is coming soon from Reaper:

A side note: I don't know what it is, but there seems to be way more cool female minis than male ones.

There's a Psion, a Psychic Warrior, and a Soulblade in recent D&D mini sets (mostly, if not all, in Giants of Legend). None of them are rares, so you shouldn't be set back much buying them.
