I like Rachel Caldwell, but the Brettonian Duke is pretty good also. Although they are simple, the wolves are nice paint jobs. Please update this thread as you continue to add pics.

Thanks! I'm still tinkering with the blog code, but I'll keep putting up pictures as I can. Even if I only put up the ones I like, I've still got a long way to go.

I'm glad you like it. I was looking at your ship models today and was wondering if there has been any progress on them. I've been in the market for good ships since I started my Freeport campaign.

The Eureka minis are currently being painted (6 down, 28 to go!). The others are of varying ages, with the Reaper ones being generally the most recent. I'm trying to get pictures of all the well painted ones, which amounts to only about half of my entire collection. The rest are old ones that are either too poorly sculpted to warrant a repaint or carry enough nostalgia to retain their old paint job.

I am going to make a suggestion - I hope that does not insult you...;)

Try this method of painting eyes:

paint the entire eye black. Hold the brush sideways to the eye, so that the tip of the bristles comes in from the side.

Finally, add a tiny white spot at each end of the eye.

I stole this from Mike McVey's excellent article. at the Wizard's site.

I like the additions to your gallery.

I've actually been painting the eye white and adding the iris with a micron pen. Some of the ones I've done lately are a little raccoony, since I've been doing darker washes in the eye socket area, but I've just let them be. It makes them look a little meaner. :)
As for the older ones, I can't tell you exactly how I was painting eyes back then. I can tell you that the pen makes a big difference in my accuracy, though. I can actually choose which direction I want them to look in rather than just hoping they don't look like they have a neurological dysfunction.
