Of course, you are both correct. I completely forgot that when I picked them up, I had needed them to be large, and since they well-overlapped the medium bases (something that kinda bugs me about DDM figs, particularly with dragons) I immediately glued them all to some Large, round GW bases I had.

I also must second the idea for using toys to do snakes- and other otherwise normal giant critters as well.

The guy in our group who was playing a Druid went APE when he saw what I had- octopi, large reptiles & birds, sharks, etc.- he started summoning cobras and gators and so forth, left and right!

And their squid is just about perfect for use as an Aboleth.
