miniatures terrain

I just picked up the latest Dragon. On the cover, it says that it contains something for "Miniatures Terrain", but I haven't been able to find anything in the magazine for this. There was a nice pull-out poster with all of the miniatures from the set, which is nice, but I'm worried that I might have picked up an issue with a section that has been pulled?

Am I crazy, just blind, or should I be heading back to the game store after work?

You must have picked up issue 312. I did not find miniatures terrain either but who really needs another battle mat "terrain piece" anyway. Probably a delay in the terrain printing or they scrapped it and overlooked the cover correction. Alternatively you and I may be the only ones not to have received terrain in which case you are now my missing terrain brother vic20.

In issue #313, the miniatures terrain tiles are on pages 38, 40, 42, and 44. They are not an insert -- you'll either have to cut them out of their respective pages or copy them onto cardstock to use them in your game.

The poster was in #312. The newest issue isn't available in stores yet.

Edit: D'oh! 312 does say "Miniatures Terrain" on the cover. Looks like a screw-up to me. There was no tiles of any kind in my copy either.

I wouldn't mind another terrain tile. That was actually a key reason that I picked up this issue. I usually don't buy dragon.

Oh well... I guess the poster is handy/cool. Sort of... Hmmm.... sort of bummed still I guessed.

At least I have a "missing terrain brother", so I can check that off my life's to-do list!

I feel sort of ripped off, as this was the reason that I picked up the issue. I assumed that the insert in the back was a bunch of terrain tiles ready to be cut and pasted onto cardboard. Imagine my surprise to find the minis poster...
