Agreed. Megabloks building blocks are poor-quality rip-offs of legos, but their knights series is quite nice on its own.

I remembered them being not cheap, I just didn't realize they'd skipped merrily over into bloody expensive somewhere along the line.

This is about as expensive as Legos were 20 years ago, proportionally. I'm actually surprised how little the price has gone up, it seems like about a 20% markup over the past 10 years.

One thing that may make them seem more expensive is that the Lego people raise the price of a set by about $1 each. That's the way it's always been. I assume the people are harder to manufacture.

Very nice. It's a pity that they are just as expensive, if not more expensive, than D&D minis.
