Miracle, the other Wish

Dagger75

Epic Commoner
On of the things you can do with miracle is raise a fallen comrade for the duration of the combat.

Now what exactly does that mean. If Fred the fighter falls, Clarance the cleric casts miracle to raise Fred for the duraction of the combat.

Now does Fred come back with full hit points ready to go? Can he be dropped again? Does he just stay alive never worrying about damage till the end of the combat?

Thanks

I think the reference to raising the dead is more along the lines of "raising your army back to life" for the rest of the battle. If you simply want someone back, use it to duplicated ressurection.

If you did use it to bring back the masses, it would last untill: A) they person subjected to it was killed again, or B) the battle was over (I'd define that as no opponents to fight).

Remember, any request that requires expenditure of EXP requires divine approval.

I knew about the 5k xp cost for the spell. An NPC cast this spell on a dragon. Funny how NPC's always have spare xp to spend :p
