Miracle working like wish?

Would it be feasible, and not unbalancing, to use a miracle in a manner similar to the Wish spell?
Specifically with respect to giving inherent bonuses to an ability score.
I'm assuming that if so, it would burn the 5000 XP.

The party has divine magic out the wazoo, but nil arcane with the exception of a warmage.

Hmm. I think that the inability to do this is one of the balancing factors of Miracle.
Of coures one could probable just use Miracle to Call some creature that has Wish as an ability.
But that has more hoop jumping, and potential for failure.
Let the party figure out way to do it in game. Maybe a Spell trade with some some Archanists.
The thing is there are even some Clerical domains with Wish in them. Why should those who did not chose the "right" Domains, reap the same benifit as those that did?

Wish burns 5000xp no matter what you use it for. Miracle only costs XP when you use it for something other than emulating lower level spells. This puts Miracle a step ahead of Wish in terms of overall power and versatility. To allow Miracle to do one of the only things Wish can do that it can't, would even further seperate the two.

Not that adding a +1 bonus to one of your ability score is game breaking, but adding more effects to an already powerful spell is starting to unbalance Arcane's vs. Divine's top tier spells. I'd have the party pay a powerful wizard to create the tomes or just cast the Wish x times. Expensive, sure, but so is 5000 xp.

Either way...just my 2 cp
