My matriculation exams are this winter. For those who do not know, in the Finnish school system they are The Most Important Exams Of Your Entire Life, and all that. If (when) I get good grades from those, my parents will agree to help me with the financial side of getting my butt all the way to a weird country, to meet other weird people. So, I'll meet you there.

I just gotta remember to put some lutefisk in the freezer around Christmas, so I can take it to Sam Witt...

Up to last week, I had been planning on attending Origins next year. Now, after reading all the cool stuff that happened at GenCon, I'm changing my plans. Hope to see everyone there next year.

Oh, and I'm making sure I'm pre-registered! I wonder when that'll start?

I'm in the same situation. I've always wanted to go to GenCon. Now, after reading about all of the great times everyone had I've decided that come heck or high water I'm going. As long as Uncle Sam doesn't tell me I have to go play in the sand box next year anyway.
