MM III Which are your favourites?

The Summoning Ooze for me! My players hate me now (it took them forever to figure out what was summoning all of the baddies)!

So far we've killed about a third of the creatures in MMIII. Just managed to do a charnel hound that was guarding a necropolis. I think my favourite so far was the lightning shuriken swarm thing. The seige crab was also cool, and so was the summoning ooze.

Yugoloths. Did you expect an answer of anything less from me?

Favorites:
Dust Wights - Awesome idea. I love them!
Chraal - To put it simply, I like cold-based critters.
Death Giants - Pretty neat idea and execution along with some interesting flavor.
Charnel Hounds - Just a neat idea
Boneclaws - Look to be some great rank-n-file beefy undead
Summoning Oozes - I look forward to springing this on my players, if only for the show value
Eldritch Giants - I really like giants
Arrow Demons - Awesome idea, though the execution is lacking IMO.
War Trolls - I like trolls as well. ;)
Redcaps - I remember reading about redcaps in an old faerie book I had and they've always been one of my favorites.
The Rakshasas - Very nice way to round out the Rakshasas, especially for an Eberron game.
Astral Stalker - I love the flavor behind this creature and the awesome picture helps too.
Drowned - Kinda tough for their CR, but I really like it.

Id have to agree on the boneclaws...a mess of boneclaws is straight up nasty. Great HPs, attacks, hideous 20 foot reach, the Boneclaws are great. Especially with Character levels.

I like a lot of the creatures already mentioned, Charnel hound, etc..

But i have to send kudos out to a few not mentioned: the Protean scoruge is a nasty little enemy. The Split is ugly against players, especially when ya have 2 protean scourges tossing enervations. The Ragewalker is a TPK waiting to happen, I love it to death, but ouch... The storm elemental is harsh.

Although the single line that caught my mind was under the necronaut entry. The line that it only communicates with undead and constructs, just caught my attention.

Let's see... my favorites are:
Kenku: They're not tengu anymore! And they're vicious little bastards!
Death Giants: Excellent flavor text backing up original abilities
Boneclaws: Mean, mean, mean.
Redcaps: So very flavorful. And really tough in a fight, besides.
Astral Stalker: It's d20 Predator. What's not to love?

Demiurge out.

There are a lot of cool critters in there- I was immediately struck by (and used) the cadaver collector; the death giants are great; trillochs are way cool!

There are a few things I doubt I'll use in there, and a lot of Eberron-slanted stuff, but it's a great book overall and I have to admit, I prefer it over MM2 and FF, though I like them both a lot.

My favorites - Armand, battlebriar, bearhound, eldritch giants, geriviar, gulgar, harpoon spider, kenku, the lizardfolk, skindancer (nasty), thorn, troll (cave and forest), woodling template, and the yugoloths.

:D

The lurking strangler is my favorite- pets for beholders and other intelligent aberations is a cool idea.

Others include the battlebriar, cinder swarm (for ships), living spells, mindshredders, trilloch and splinterwaif.

The prismatic roper looks a lot cooler than the stats indicate.
